I’m Josh Grant. I enjoy building applications and system in the cloud.

I am a former Coast Guard electronics technician with over 20 years of experience in the field. I have served in various roles within the Coast Guard, including as an electronic technician, supervisor and instructor. My experiences in the military have given me a strong foundation in problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking.

After retiring from the Coast Guard, I decided to pursue a career in technology, specifically in cloud computing. I am now a cloud solutions architect specializing in Amazon Web Services (AWS). I work with companies of all sizes to design and implement scalable and secure solutions on the AWS platform.

I am passionate about helping organizations take advantage of the benefits of cloud computing, such as increased agility, cost savings, and disaster recovery. I have experience in a wide range of services on AWS including Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Block Storage (EBS) and serverless technologies.

I am a lifelong learner and enjoy staying current with the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing. I hold several certifications, including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and HasiCorp Terraform - Associate.

When I'm not working, you can find me exploring the beautiful California coast or hiking in the mountains. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and am always looking for new adventures and experiences.
